Launches Mobile Product Search For Malls
NearbyNow, which is one of several companies trying to build a local product
inventory database, has launched SMS-based mobile search for shopping malls.
According to the release, the service "allows consumers to find any product,
brand or sale in a shopping mall simply by sending a text message. By typing
their request into their mobile phone, consumers can easily find the nearest
store that sells ’skinny jeans’ or ‘men’s shoes on sale.’" Here’s a ClickZ

Google Earth
Adds Geographic Web Layer
Google announced they have added a new geographic web layer over Google Earth
with information from Wikipedia, Panoramio and the Google Earth community.
This information is accessible via Google Earth and it shows you individual
photos, reviews, write ups, and much more about a specific location on Google
Earth. How does it work? To experience this for yourself, all you need to do
