Google's Manhattan Office Attractive & Inviting
Can Google Come Out to Play? by the New York Times has a detailed look at Google's Manhattan office. The article shows Googlers inviting their friends over to play Guitar Hero, the free food and snacks, the fun and exciting atmosphere at working in the office and the huge plus of Google stock options available to employees.
Translating the GooglePlex Mountain View office company culture to NY may have presented a challenge to Google, but it sure seems to be working out just fine. I visited the Google NY office about a month after they officially opened the doors, I have shared my thoughts at Search Engine roundtable and Cartoon Barry back then.
