Zuula Meta Search Engine
Zuula is a multi/meta search engine that I noticed the other day. It provides access to search engines in the areas of Web, News, Images, Blogs and Jobs. It takes results from various different engines in each category, but mainly uses Google, Yahoo, Ask, and MSN. It works in a similar fashion to engines such as TurboScout, which is to say that it displays results from one search engine, searchers click on another engine tab and it displays results from that one and so on.
It has a 'recent search' function, a few advanced search features (such as limiting to a specific domain), the ability to edit tabs - but only to the extent of re-ordering tabs or removing existing engines - it's not possible to add your own unfortunately. Zuula does the job that it sets out to do, but it's not yet very ambitious and will need to add more functionality and personalization options before I can get excited about it.

A slightly different and in my opinion better perspective on metasearch is shown bij GooglePlus.EU. The search engine shows Google results next to the results that Google is missing but the others have found.

I don't understand how a standard metasearch engine is comment worthy. What was special enough about this one to make a mention here ?
