Google Fensi: Google's Asian Social Networking Site?
Over the past day or so, there has been a lot of discussion about something named "Google Fensi." Google Operating Systems first posted about it linking to this screen capture.
Garett Rogers then dug deeper to explain it was found within the Google in Your Language page, but he isn't sure if it is a social networking site, since Google already has Orkut. Garett tells us that a few months ago he received a tip from a Google Tester that Google is developing a "MySpace meets Microsoft Live" type of application - so maybe this is it?
Philipp Lenssen commented at Google Operating Systems that "fensi" means "fans" in Chinese, so maybe it is a "Google Fans" product, to be launched in Asia as a type of social networking application. This is all pure speculation.
