Vacation & Brief Blog Downtime
I'm officially on vacation, back on the blog again beginning February 26. The blog itself is also taking a very short break. Tomorrow -- Saturday, February 17 -- it will go offline for an hour or less at 10PM Pacific time, as we test a new server configuration that we hope will help with our Movable Type blog installation.
We use a lot of categories here on the blog -- well over 200 -- and that tends to make things slow behind the scenes when we're posting new entries or making changes. The test is one of the things we're trying to speed life up for our blog authors.
