Google Ordered To Change AdSense Contract By South Korea's Watchdog

S. Korean watchdog orders Google to fix unfair contract clauses by Yonhap News (and see longer version here) reports that Google has been ordered to change its AdSense contract to be more publisher friendly. The Fair Trade Commission said the contract is currently enabling Google to "one-sidedly cancel advertisement deals" with publishers. It also raised concerns that the contract provided no payment guarantees. Google said it will revise the contract.

Wonder if this will filter over to the US-based side of things?

I've always been a bit leary of exactly this aspect of things with Adsense.

Hasn't stopped me from using them, mind you, but helped make me hyper-aware of the rules and how to stay well within the lines...

Not related to the post at hand but there's a function here that shows "Nth most visited link" and it noticeably slows down opening up your external links in a new window (without real benefit, I have to say, tho that's just my taste). Anyway, keep up the great blogging Barry & co!
