Upcoming Search Marketing Events: March-April 2007

Got some time on your hands? Want to get out and meet people, talk search marketing or improve your search marketing skills? There are plenty of upcoming events if you're wanting to get out and learn more. Below, a rundown on some of the conferences and training events happening in the next two months.

March 7 - Portland - Conference

SEMpdx SearchFest 07 is a conference being organized by SEMpdx, the Portland, Oregon search marketing group.

March 8, 2007 - Online - Webinar

Maximizing the Impact of Paid Search Listings is a webinar later this week from our sister site Search Marketing Now. It provides an introduction and tips on doing more with paid listings. This is a travel-free event! It's held entirely online and offered free to anyone who registers.

March 15-16, 2007 - Minneapolis - Training

High Rankings Search Engine Marketing Seminar from Jill Whalen comes to Minneapolis. The idea of small group training events is picking up popularity, as I'll cover more below. Jill's been running one of the longest-standing training events of this type, since November 2002.

March 17, 2007 - California - Training

SEOToolSet Training Course from Bruce Clay happens again in California with two-and-half days of classes on Bruce's own SEO tools and SEO tips in general. Like Jill, Bruce has been running one of the oldest established small group courses in the business.

March 20-21, 2007 - Australia - Conference

Missed Search Summit in Australia earlier this month? Loved it and would like another event down under? Search Engine Room 2007 is coming to Sydney.

March 20-21, 2007 - London - Training

Seodays is a new small group training event from Dave Naylor, Jennifer Slegg and Greg Boser. Greg won't be making the first one, but Dave and Jen will be there, along with invited guest speakers.

March 21 - Ireland - Conference

Search Marketing World 2007 is a one day conference on search marketing happening in Dublin. I and Chris Sherman are speaking and moderating at the event. Please note. While we're super excited to be taking part, we're not the organizers of the event. There's some confusion on that front, as with some other shows. My Where's Danny Sullivan Speaking At In 2007? post explains more about this, in terms of what I'm organizing versus what I'm speaking at.

March 23, 2007 - New York - Training

SEO Class is a new small group training event Jeremy Schoemaker, Rae Hoffman, Todd Malicoat, Greg Niland, Michael Gray. The first two day event is free and only open to non profit organizations.

March 26 & 27 - Munich - Conference

SES Munich comes back to Germany with a two day event, mostly held in German.

March 27 & 29 - Detroit & Minneapolis - Training

Google AdWords is bringing its seminars to Detroit and Minneapolis. OK, you don't know that from the official AdWords seminar site. One of the seminar leaders, Brad Geddes, says its so.

April 10-13 - New York - Conference

SES NY 2007 returns for another year to New York, with the usual four day jam packed agenda of sessions that I'm in charge of programming. But hey, Danny -- I thought you weren't doing SES any more? Or are you doing all of them. I know, I know, there's some confusion apparently given the email I'm getting. Short story: I'm programming SES NY, co-programming SES San Jose with Chris Sherman and then speaking and moderating at SES Chicago. Where's Danny Sullivan Speaking At In 2007? and Reminder: Danny Sullivan Is Only Programming SES NY 2007 & SES San Jose 2007 explains all this much more. Incisive -- which owns SES -- is also continuing to run small group training classes that began last year at SES San Jose. In New York, these will happen on April 9.

I'll leave it off there for now, then do a further update next month. Don't forget, Search Engine Land's own SMX Advanced show is set for June 4 & 5 in Seattle, and we also announced two more shows recently. SMX Local & Mobile will be in Denver from Sept. 19-20 and SMX Social Media in New York from Oct. 16-17.

Did I miss something? Feel free to add other shows over the period above in the comments below.
