More Google Phone Rumors
Simeon Simeonov has an excellent write up on the recent Google Phone rumors that have been buzzing around the blogosphere over the past day or so. In short, the recent Google acquisitions and partnerships, coupled with the Google & Orange talks and Google & Samsung partnership, with some insider information - leads him and others to believe Google is working on a mobile phone.
Simeon believes this phone will be "Blackberry-like," running a flavor of Linux for the OS, with Java running on a C++ core, vector-based presentation methods and services such as VOIP and more (all of Google Apps?). See the roundup of discussion at Techmeme.

I hope Orange is now out of the picture and Google and Samsung are building a true open mobile computing platform. If so, phones will soon be typewriters. Blogged more at NextBlitz:
