Google Phone Has Been Confirmed By Google Exec
Engadget reports on a Spanish blog post that Isabel Aguilera, Google's chief executive in Spain and Portugal, has confirmed that there is a Google phone in the works. We have been reporting on these rumors for a while, so it is nice to see some possible confirmation.
News.com reports Isabel Aguilera saying "some of the time the engineers are dedicated to developing a mobile phone." The big question now is it Orange or Samsung or both or someone else involved in this deal?
Postscript: New reports come out that Google is working on software for a mobile device but not the hardware. See our coverage named No Google Phone But Mobile Software Says Google for more information.
