Yahoo Search Update Tonight - May 22nd
Tim Mayer of Yahoo informed us that there will be a Yahoo Search index update tonight. Tim said we should "expect minor changes" over the next few days. The update will conclude this Friday.

...hmmm.
I wonder what the Yahoo! traffic effects are with statements like this?
I wonder how many SEOs boot up IBP (or some sort of mass ranking checker) and get a snapshot of Yahoo rankings for their particular keyword and phrase set? ...per client ...only to do it again tomorrow and 'over the next few days'?
I never go to SEO conferences and have no idea how many people are really into our gig, but it seems like their are enough that news like this will cause some sort of 'spike' in traffic.
O well - will the results get any better? Guess we'll see. They don't seem to be nearly as relevant as Google or Ask and in my opinion are constantly playing catch-up.
