Easy Way To Turn Off Google Personalized Results
Aaron Wall reports from the SMX conference on an easy way to turn off personalized Google results.
To turn off personalized search quickly, for specific search results, just add "&pws=0" to the end of the URL string in your browser.
Here is an example URL string for a search on SEO at Google with personalized search on: http://www.google.com/search?q=seo (Note, for the results to be personalized, you must be logged in to Google while searching.
Here is an example URL string for a search on SEO at Google with personalized search off even when logged into Google: http://www.google.com/search?q=seo&pws=0

I think Tim Mayer of Yahoo response was the best solution to turning off personalized search... use a different search engine!

I believe the Googlers said this would only work on a per-query basis, so I'm not convinced it qualfies as "easy". Tedious, in my opinion, is not really easy.
