SMX Events In Argentina & Chile Later This Month
The Search Marketing Expo conference series bows in Latin American with events later this month in Argentina and Chile.
SMX Buenos Aires will be held October 24. The event features keynote presentations from Google, Yahoo's Ricardo Baeza-Yates on webspam and search, and a presentation on preventing click fraud from Dr. Shanahan.
The Buenos Aires program will also feature two tracks with:
- interactive workshops on SEO, landing page optimization, and conversion analysis
- roundtable sessions on both search optimization (SEO) and paid search (PPC) advertising
- IR for Dummies, an introduction to information retrieval by Diego Basch

SMX Santiago de Chile will be held October 25-26 in conjunction with the eighth annual Society of Information Technology Summit and in collaboration with the University of Chile and the Center for Web Research.
