Google Maps Adds "Community Maps" To Default Map Searches
The Google LatLong Blog announced that Google Maps is now displaying "community map" results by default for your map queries. These are maps and map points made through the Google My Maps feature.
For example, a search on dog parks in Berkeley returns several community results with blue pointers, as highlighted below:
Can you SEO for these maps? I am sure people will start to. Give it a try by creating your own maps.
