YouTube Enhances Video Flagging System

YouTube has announced they have improved their video flagging system. If you ever watch a video that might raise a concern, you can click on a "Flag" link below the video (when on a video page) that will enable you to report the video to a human editor at YouTube. Based on user feedback, YouTube has clarified the flag categories, now 17 in all, and added more help documentation about them. Here are screen captures of the process:

Click the Flag Icon and mouse over the reasons for flagging the video:

Mousing over the major categories will give you subcategories to choose from:

When you select a subcategory, you may be given a link to help documentation on how to proceed, such as this case:

You may also be given a form to give YouTube more information when you submit your flag:
