Google Dresses Up Sponsored Links With Holiday Dividers Again
Like every year for the past three years, Google has dressed up the divider bar between the sponsored listings and the free listings with something special for specific holiday searches.
For example, a search on christmas displays Christmas trees as the divider, as illustrated below:
Search for kwanzaa, and you get green, black, and red candles:
Try a search for hanukkah gifts, and you get white candles:
What is interesting is that searches for popular toys such as playstation or used Motoman robots return a divider made up of Christmas baubles:

Note that these only appear to be showing to those in the United States. If you live outside the U.S. and want to see the dividers, after you do a search, add &gl=us to the end of the search string in your address bar, like this:
