Yahoo's New Minimum Bid Prices Now Live: Advertisers Impacted
As announced that the new minimum bids for advertisers may no longer be the $0.10 as they previously were. Yahoo said that your new "minimum bids can be lower or higher than $.10." Note, the content network's minimum bids will remain at $0.10, at least for the time being, so this only impacts the search network.
At the Search Engine Roundtable, I recorded several advertisers noticing spikes in their minimum bids as low as 2X and as high as 4X the original minimum bid price. In fact, I have not seen anyone say that they minimum bids are now less than $0.10, only reports that they are higher. I have placed a poll at the Search Engine Roundtable for you to let us know how you have been impacted by this major change at Yahoo Search Marketing.
So please login to your YSM account, drill down to your keyword prices, and then take my poll so we can record as many responses as possible.
