Google and Bing have rolled out the red carpet in anticipation of next month’s Academy Awards, offering users quick access to this year’s Oscar nominated films and professionals.

Searches for “Oscar nominee” or “Oscar nominations” on either site include special call-outs that list the following eight films nominated for the Best Picture category: Whiplash, American Sniper, Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything and Boyhood.

Google’s “Oscar nominee” or “Oscar nominations” searches deliver a knowledge graph box listing a brief synopsis about the Academy Awards, along with this year’s event date and a list of the 2015 best picture nominees.

Google has also included a “Winners” box, allowing users to click on a specific year to see which films and Hollywood professionals took home the Oscar dating back to 2010.

The same searches on Bing return a carousel featuring the eight Best Picture nominees, along with a call-out box to the right of its search results that includes a brief overview of this year’s awards show, along with a list of the nominees for a number of other Oscar categories.

While Bing lists relevant Oscar information below its carousel, searches for specific Oscar nomination categories does not render the same carousel results.

Google, on the other hand, does serve up knowledge graph boxes for “Oscar best actress,” “Oscar best actor,” “Oscar best director,” and “Oscar best picture” searches.
