    Nice work on this report for industrial marketers. I think there are some encouraging signs that industry is starting to pick up on the importance of social media usage in industrial marketing. 

    However, one of the things that I’m seeing is that too many companies are focusing on attention on Facebook and less channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube and blogging. While it’s necessary to have a Facebook page to round out your social media presence, I don’t think that there is a very strong ROI to be realized there. For instance, how many leads do you really generate from getting a bunch of ‘Likes’?

    Personally, I think that blogging is what the industrial sector should focus on most to get recognized in the search engines and stand out from the competition. There’s just so much more immediate value that can be realized from blogging.
