John Cosley

John Cosley is responsible for Microsoft Search Advertising’s global brand marketing strategy and communications activities, which includes Bing Ads. In this role, he oversees global branding, PR, executive comms, social media & community, digital customer experiences, and vertical marketing communication activities.

Cosley brings with him over 15 years of online and digital marketing experience. He joined Microsoft from Corbis Corp., where he served as the Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Cosley oversaw global marketing strategy and all functional areas of marketing: brand, customer acquisition (paid media/advertising), customer retention, social, PR, customer research, channel marketing, analytics and creative services.

Prior to Corbis Corp., Cosley spent 8-years working in entertainment at both Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox film studios, where he held various digital and integrated marketing leadership positions launching feature films both domestically and internationally.
