Matt McGee

Matt began doing SEO around 1999/2000, back when Google was just a baby, and you were hot stuff if you could figure out how to get a site to rank well in both Lycos and Excite. Matt is an independent search marketing consultant who helps clients use the Internet to grow their business. That may involve SEO, social media marketing, blogging, local search or a variety of other tactics. He has guided successful projects for clients of all sizes and budgets, with special emphasis on traffic acquisition via organic rankings.

Matt is a regular speaker at search marketing conferences across the country, and is available to speak privately to small groups and companies. He writes the popular Small Business Search Marketing blog, and recently created HyperlocalBlogger.com to help small businesses and bloggers learn about local blogging -- the next Big Thing in local search marketing. Matt is a frequent contributor to several search-related web sites, blogs, and discussion forums.
