Bing has announced updates to its Bing Ads Accredited Professional Program for search marketers looking to get certified as “Pro Bingers”.  bing-ads

Among the changes, Bing transitioned the training segments from video based to text based content. Users can now view the training on the Bing Ads website or print out the training materials, a frequent customer request according to a Bing spokesperson.

The number of training sections increased from 25 to 29 to provide more in-depth content. Users can share the trainings via Facebook, Twitter, and email with the new social media bar.

The cost barrier is now gone as well.  The exam, which at one time cost $50, then $15, is now free. There are no promotion code or time limit restrictions, allowing users to take the exam at their own pace. The company says the 100 question exam takes, on average, 90 minutes to complete.

In a separate update for Bing Ads professionals, there is a new language field in the Bing Ads Find a Pro Directory, which allows users to filter directory results by the languages they need for their campaigns. Bing Ads professionals can update their member profiles to opt-in to the languages you support. The languages supported at this time are English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
