Bing Partners With NCAA To Deliver March Madness Predictions & Tournament App
For the second year in a row, Bing and the NCAA are teaming up to help fans fill out their NCAA brackets and follow all 67 games during this year's tournament.
Using Bing Predicts technology, Bing says its March Madness experience will offer, “… intelligent match-up predictions, analysis and additional features” based on social and search signals and NCAA statistical data.
Along with Bing’s March Madness experience, the NCAA is launching a universal app for Windows 10 PCs, phones and tablets. The app will use Windows 10 features to deliver up-to-date tournament results, live alerts on game upsets and overtimes and live video streaming for all 67 March Madness match-ups.
Bing’s announcement also said that fans can search for their team on Bing.com right now to see its tournament chances according to Bing Predicts. (To get the following search result, I had to search for “Indiana University basketball” versus simply doing an “Indiana University” search.)
According to Bing, the NCAA app will be available before the tournament starts, and Bing’s March Madness experience will roll out on all devices via Bing.com after the NCAA’s official “Selection Sunday” event on March 13.
This is the second year the NCAA has teamed up with Bing for the March Madness basketball tournament.
