Bing Promises “More Beautiful” Search In IE9

During today’s launch of the IE9 browser beta today, the Bing search team previewed some of the new features that will be available in the browser via HTML5 — calling it a “more beautiful search experience.”

In a blog post today, Bing discussed things like an animated home page that shows full motion images, smoother transitions between the query and the display of search results, as well as larger image and video previews. Here’s a look at some of what’s to come with Bing on IE9.

Bing says these new features will be available later this month on a preview site.

How much of this do you think will be available to searchers in Europe? None of it? Yup, me too.

Agree with Ruth. The headline above this article should be:
“Bing Promises “More Beautiful” Search In IE9 for Americans.”

Because Bing is a American-only search engine. In Europe we still have Live Search with a Bing logo, like Bas wrote here: Europe needs Bing, but does Bing need EUrope?
