Bing Refreshes Video Search: Adds Bigger Thumbnail Images & Offers More Info

Video search results now include channel, upload date and view count details.

Bing has upgraded its video search experience, adding larger thumbnail images and additional information for each video result, as well as moving “related searches” inline with the original search.

According to Bing, the new layout will offer an easier and faster video search experience.

In addition to increasing the thumbnail image size, Bing’s video search results now include channel, upload date and view count details for each video.

For specific song searches, Bing will display a “hero” video for the song, based on the top result for the query. Users can play the video directly from the results page, or click to go to the video’s source.
