bing-video-logoBing announced some upgrades to Bing Video search. The upgrades include additional search filters, larger video thumbnails, pop-out hover previews and video overlay and improved navigation.

New filters – Allow people to easily filter through video content categories by length, date, resolution and source.

Bigger video thumbnails – Larger thumbnails make it easier for people to scan through videos and now include source favicon and video view counts. This will help you see which videos you want to play and place trust on each video host by quickly seeing the favicon of the site.

Pop-out hover previews – These hover previews will save viewers time by allowing them to easily preview videos with a larger and higher resolution pop-out window.

Video overlay and improved navigation – Display videos front and center and let people easily browse to the next video without leaving the collection of videos. I wonder what the video source will think about this feature.
