		<description>All other things being equal, it can be helpful to have experience in the specific industry you are working on for the client. 

That being said, it&#039;s not strictly necessary to have direct experience working in an industry you are marketing for. If you have a solid relationship with the client, you are working in partnership, and the client can offer their insights into the campaign. 

Most of the time, it&#039;s fairly easy to pick out the key players in the market pretty quickly, and make a plan for the client. At the same time however, I&#039;ve also found that as an SEO, after a while you learn about topics in great detail that you never even knew existed, which is all part of the fun.  ;)</description>
