DuckDuckGo announced that they’ve expanded their search auto-suggestions, aka autocomplete, to 34 new international regions. Auto suggest helps searchers find the appropriate query as they type, by providing common search queries as they start typing.

Since DuckDuckGo is all about privacy, they make it clear that auto suggest does not impact your privacy. They say they “do not associate queries with personal information (e.g. IP addresses).” They add that they “don’t store any of it at all so our auto-suggest doesn’t impact your privacy.”

Here are the new regions they added:

  • Argentina
  • Austria
  • Australia

  • Canada (both English and French)
