Enquisite, a provider of free analytics software, has introduced a product called “PPC Assurance.” The aim of the product is to help search marketers identify whether their campaigns are performing as intended and to identify clicks that fall outside the parameters of their campaign guidelines or clicks they were billed for but never received. The product also has a feature that permits marketers to submit the errant click data automatically to search engines for refunds or credits.

For example, a search marketer based in New York that was geotargeting selected markets on the East Coast and dayparting would be able to determine at a glance whether clicks were coming from Texas or other non-campaign markets and/or outside the daypart time frames. PPC Assurance, I was told by Enquisite CEO Richard Zwicky, is not intended to replace click fraud products, rather to provide additional data and visibility on click trends to identify “undesired” clicks or billed but unreceived clicks.
