EveryZing announced today that it has launched ezSEO AND ezSEARCH, two products designed to improve the findability of audio and video content by both web search engines and content provider site search services.
ezSEO is a templated publishing system that can rapidly build thousands of pages that are search friendly, even when the content is primarily video or audio content that lacks keyword rich text. ezSEO uses patented speech-to-text recognition technology to extract relevant text from audio and video and then populates pages with topically dense content. The system can create snippets with keywords in context that are relevant to keywords a publisher is optimizing for improving the odds of that content ranking well in search results—especially now that search engines are introducing more “blended” search results with video and audio content.
ezSEARCH is a site search platform that allows content providers to provide better “universal” search results for visitors. Most site search tools perform poorly with audio and video content, relying on metadata, user tags or ratings, or other clues to determine relevance. ezSEARCH uses the same speech-to-text technology mentioned above to “crack” the content and “understand” what multimedia is relevant for specific keyword queries.
