    Hmm, this part was confusing to me: “Capture the query using the ‘q=’ parameter in the referrer … So, your product URL in Merchant Center would look something like this.” What’s the blah=blahblah part? Can you say more about the q= parameter?

    @cjvannette:disqus the blah=blahblah is a generic parameter that may or may not be on your url. The q= parameter is part of the referrer. Check out the firefox plug-in Tamper Data. Open it up and click on an ad. You’ll be able to see the referring url and within it, a parameter q. The value of the parameter q will be referring product.

    But if you have a 1-to-1 relationship between Ad Groups and Auto Targets, can’t you work with that?
