Don't know how I missed this post, but it's brilliant. Kick ass examples, and the best part is just about any business can leverage this kind of thing not only to create great content but also to leverage a niche community for link building. @brucekeener I believe iFlickr will do the trick.

I’m late to the party on this, but wanted to comment that I found it very interesting and have begun using the recommendations on my site (updated one article using Flickr content and wrote another).

I’ve found it to be a bit of a pain to do all of the work manually for this, and am wondering if anyone recommend a plugin that takes care of getting the right img src setting into the WordPress posts?

Thanks for the great information. I’ve been utilizing Flickr for about 7 months now, but learned alot more in this article, and I’ll be able to optimize the pages even more. :)

i liked the article a lot. It is great way to produce content, links, and also traffic. But, I don’t think you can use thos method for all types of niches. Forinstance, if I am selling a software, how can use Flickr for it?

Excellent post (as usual) from Lisa Barone. I love Flickr and I’m noticing increased traffic for image related searches. This is a good reminder not to goof around and instead create a serious planned out approach towards increasing eyeballs in that space.
