Gmail has now been offline for the past twenty minutes or so. Just take a look at Twitter Search to see how many people are upset with the downtime.
Here is a screen capture:
This outage seems to be impacting both web access, pop access and imap access.
Hopefully this outage won’t be as long or serious as the one from last August.
Update: Gmail is coming back online now. The outage was maybe 30 minutes. @Google Tweeted an apology:
