A new partnership between Go Daddy web hosting and Google Webmaster Tools gives Go Daddy customers easy access to the features available within Google Webmaster Tools. According to the release, Go Daddy customers can opt-in to the integration for their hosted sites directly from their control centers. This jump starts account creation, site submission, and the verification process, and customers will then gain access to the tools and statistics available through Webmaster Tools and Go Daddy will automatically submit Sitemaps for those sites.

Go Daddy manages more than 24 million domain names, and although there’s no word on how many of those will benefit from this integration (it is positioned as a pilot), the potential exists for Webmaster Tools to reach a substantially larger audience with this partnership. In particular, this integration may be beneficial for those site owners who may not know about Webmaster Tools or may have trouble with the technical requirements of site verification and Sitemap submission.
