Google Adds Snow Conditions & Interaction Mobile Weather Results

Google announced two winter features for the Google search results. The first one is a live snapshot of the snow conditions in a particular area. The second is a special new mobile version of weather, which is interaction.

Live Snow Conditions:

Google now shows you live snow results on the search results for your favorite ski resorts. Google said they partnered with OnTheSnow.com and SkiReport.com to enable special search snippets for those two sites. Here is a picture of the special snippets, I should note, I personally do not see them live yet.

Interaction Mobile Weather Results:

If you search for weather results on Google using an iPhone and Android-powered devices, you will see a new format for the weather results. The weather results have a slider and larger real estate for interacting with the weather. The new weather results are available on google.com in English.
