The Google Docs blog announced a new feature that allows you to upload files and share those files with friends, co-workers and colleagues. Google is limiting the file upload to 250 MB per file, with a maximum total of 1 GB of free storage. Of course, you can always buy more storage at any time, if needed.

For more details on how to use this new feature, see the help section at the Google Docs site.
