    Trendistic.com has been doing this for a long time, and better because it also shows what people are saying about the topics. Search engines can only show what people are searching for, not what they are thinking about. We can.

    Good idea for Google.. Real time search is going to be more and more relevant in the coming months and years. They are smart for incorporating this into search, as well as the sidebar that allows you to narrow down searches by update dates.

    I think they should have this info shown in the upper part of the screen instead of the lower section. Someone looking for trends in the restaurant design needs to see right away.

    Good article, not sure why Google downsized the trends number. Bing shows more. http://www.newsonrails.com still displays 100 Google trends. It’s probably a Goggle’s site.
