Google News has added the ability to allow users to “star” news stories. When a user stars a story (or technically, a cluster of stories), it:
- Lets Google know that you’re interested in that subject.
- Alerts you to significant updates by putting the headline in bold, so you can get more information.
- Allows you to follow your 20 most recent starred stories in the “Starred” section of Google News.
