Google is now showing those who submit reconsideration requests, their original reconsideration request when Google documents that they’ve received it. Google shows this within Google Webmaster Tools messages are.

Previous, Google would just confirm they received it and then hopefully respond a few days later with their findings. But now, Google is not just confirming they received it but also providing your original request in the response.

Jody McCombe tweeted about this yesterday and Tripp Hamilton shared an example screen shot with me:

As you can see, Google confirmed they received the reconsideration request and then adds:

It is then followed by your request or the request submitted on behalf of a site you have verified ownership of within Google Webmaster Tools.

I suspect Google is providing this detail in cases where some are confused by these reconsideration requests submitted on behalf of them by maybe an SEO company or webmaster or because some may lose track of past requests.
