What exactly is preventing those experts from contributing their content? and what's the problem with a lot of non-expert material? is he saying it's too much of a load for Google's bots and indexers? should we care? Saying "...the vast majority of stuff we find on the web is useless" shows this is a person who simply didn't get what long tail is all about. That's typical Google - authority-based.
