If you’re still trying to compare Google results with the new “Caffeine” sandbox, be prepared to wait while Google makes some datacenter upgrades.
Matt Cutts just posted the news on Twitter that the sandbox is being taken down, and that it’ll be back online “late Thursday afternoon-ish.”

I considered doing a Hitchhiker’s Guide-style “DON’T PANIC” tweet, but probably that would be too dramatic. :)
The Caffeine sandbox is currently single-homed at one datacenter, and that datacenter needs a few upgrades of power components for unrelated reasons. We’re shooting to bring the sandbox back up by late Thursday afternoon or evening Pacific time. It’s not a biggie–just wanted to give folks a heads-up so they wouldn’t stress.
