    doesn’t it do that for weeks now on chrome? sorry, don’t see any big news here… just type amazon.com then TAB and there you go.. even fully using the local sites’ api for search..

    The end functionality is the same, but it’s a much more visible way to get those results. We can assume that very few “average” users know that the site: command exists.
