Google AdSense announced today at the CRS Conference that they are currently testing a new interface for the AdSense console. The beta is currently being tested by few publishers, but Google promises to allow “thousands of publishers” to test this out “over the coming weeks.”

Wow. those are some really low CTRs. I haven’t used AdSense in a few years, but I was getting close to 15%. Has there been a global drop of this magnitude in CTR on AdSense ads over the years?
I guess that if the stats are for this or another SEM site, then the low CTRs probably make sense, given that most of us in the industry are somewhat immune to them.
