Google’s New AdWords Interface Coming To Many Advertisers

I reported at the Search Engine Roundtable that many AdWords advertisers are being forced into the new AdWords interface within the next 30 days.

Google sent emails to many advertisers telling them that within 30 days, they will be automatically moved to the new interface. The email explained that the new “web interface designed to make campaign management faster and easier.” Google added, “we’ll continue to release additional features and make adjustments to the new interface based on advertiser feedback.” The issue is, many advertisers find the new interface slower to use, while some love the new interface.

In any event, AdWords advertisers, please be prepared for this new interface.

ONE COMMENT ON Google’s New AdWords Interface Coming To Many Advertisers

zymetrical,

The interface is more intuitive, yes, but they removed the search box entirely and replaced it with a “help center” search box. I mean that is their shtick — searching & organizing. Now the only way to find very specific things, such as an individual keyword or ad group is to sort through the entire campaign. Or use the offline editor — which may be what they are hoping to push larger advertisers towards anyway..

I almost think they released it with so many bugs intentionally to solicit more feedback. The pages do load slower, but are no doubt faster in chrome.
