The ultimate FOMO report for retailers advertising on Google Shopping is here, just in time for the holiday season.

The new Shopping Assortment report in Google Merchant Center will show you the most popular products on Google that are not in your feed. Search by product category to zoom in on the products that matter to your business. You might find products there that actually should be active in your feed and also identify popular products to carry. It also includes up to five price benchmarks from retailers selling each item to help inform your pricing strategies.

The report looks back at the past 14 days. The ranking is based on user clicks “and other indicators” in your target country, according to the Help Center article.

Target strategy leader Daniel Dutton tells Google they’ve been using the report to find emerging products they don’t already carry and prioritize re-stocking orders for out-of-stock items.

Shopping Assortment is available now in Google Merchant Center accounts.
