Keynoting SMX Advanced Seattle: Microsoft SVP Yusuf Mehdi
Microsoft’s Bing is turning one year old, and according to just-released comScore qSearch data continues to gain market share at the expense of Google. We’re excited about our keynote conversation at SMX Advanced Seattle, where Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s Senior Vice President, Online Audience Business and a key executive on the Bing team discusses the evolution of search at Microsoft, the alliance with Yahoo and future initiatives Microsoft has planned as it continues to bang away against the global goliath, Google.
Mehdi is an experienced search veteran, having been instrumental in leading both web search and search advertising initiatives at Microsoft. He currently has revenue and market share responsibility for the Bing and MSN businesses, and before that served as Microsoft’s chief advertising strategist and led an 1,800-person engineering team to develop and launch Microsoft’s initial web search platform and Microsoft adCenter.
While the conference is currently sold out, there’s still time to get on the waiting list, get your own Expo Plus pass, or attend the In-house SEM Exchange workshop or Bruce Clay SEO Training. Don’t delay—spaces for all remaining events are going quickly.
SMX Advanced London Next Week
Can’t make Seattle? Our fourth Search Marketing Expo event in the UK is next week, and it’s shaping up to be an exceptional show. You can expect the great content, keynote, networking activities and meals for which SMX events are famous.
And this year we’ve added a new – and we think very compelling – focus to the show: SMX London is now SMX Advanced London, taking place on May 17 & 18 in Covent Garden. While it’s an advanced program, SMX Advanced London has a distinct UK and European focus.
