Youtube, SKorea’s LG agree to develop mobile phone from AFP reports that LG Electronics, a popular cell phone manufacturer, will be teaming up with Google’s YouTube to create a mobile phone that can upload, view, and share YouTube videos.
LG is expected to launch the phone in Europe in the second half of 2007, which can be any time now until the end of this year. Yes, the iPhone can play YouTube videos but you cannot record and upload videos directly from your iPhone. Also, YouTube did launch a mobile site recently at m.youtube.com.
LG is already selling phones preloaded with Google software, the article also covers.
