If you visit Google.com today you may see a Google Doodle (logo) for St. Patrick's Day. Here is a picture of the special St. Patrick's Day Doodle for this year: Google is not the only search engine with a special logo. Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com all have logos. Google’s Pi Day Logo On 3.14

I can't remember Google ever having a special "doodle" or logo for Pi Day, but that has changed today, March 14, 2010. If you visit Google.com today, you will see a special logo for Pi Day, which is celebrated by most on 3.14 - as you might understand. Google’s Doodle For Both The Olympics & Valentine’s Day

If you visit Google today, you will see Google has a 3rd (actually, 4th) Olympics logo up today. But if you look closely, you may notice the logo has a heart designed into it. If you look even closer, you may notice that Google's alternative text tag for the image says, "Happy Valentine's Day" in it. I noticed this when I at first posted, incorrectly, that Google was skipping out on the Valentine's Day logos in exchange for the Olympics. But it turns out, as spotted by Michel, that the Olympics logo is also a Valentine's Day logo. Here is a picture: A very nice touch by Google. [...]

Vancouver Olympics Logos From Google & Others

The Olympics are just around the corner and Google has their widest ever logo on their home page this morning, for the special event that kicks off tonight in Vancouver. Third Annual Doodle 4 Google Contest

Google announced their third annual Doodle 4 Google contest today. In this year's contest, the competition is around the theme, "If Could Do Anything, I Would..." The prizes include, the logo being features on Google.com on May 27, 2010, plus receive a $15,000 college scholarship, a laptop computer and a $25,000 technology grant for their school. Your school must be registered by March 17, 2010 because only students from registered schools can enter. All doodles must be submitted by March 31, 2010. For more details, click here. [...]
