Google has just announced the closure of several well-known products, including Fast Flip, Sidewiki, Aardvark and Subscribed Links. Some of these are part of the ongoing purge of Google Labs products, while others that are being shut down were not part of Labs. Google Sidewiki launched in September, giving Google Toolbar users the ability to comment on your web site in a new way. Tracking those comments meant you had to have the Google Toolbar installed and check those comments manually. That is no longer true. Google Sidewiki Allows Anyone To Comment About Any Site

Google Sidewiki is a new feature being added today to the Google Toolbar that allows anyone to leave comments about pages as they surf the web. Love something you're reading? Hate it? You can share your views with others who visit the page and who also have Sidewiki enabled. Share, that is, if Google thinks your comment is good enough.
