Bing Webmaster Tools now has fully integrated in Yahoo's traffic numbers as well. So if you have seen a spike in your Bing Webmaster Tools traffic charts, this is the reason why. You should see your impressions and clicks data spike up, while the click through rate numbers may fluctuate from the norm as well. Official: Yahoo’s Results Now Come From Bing

Yahoo just announced the transition from Yahoo Search powered results to Bing powered organic Yahoo search results is now complete. The search ads are still from Yahoo but the free, organic results are now powered by Bing in the U.S. and Canada. Shashi Seth, Senior Vice President of Yahoo! Yahoo Using Search To Help Determine News Coverage

Yahoo has been investing in news, including original content development. Consistent with its content strategy the company paid roughly $100 million for "content farm" Associated Content just a few months ago.
