The Yahoo-Bing paid search partnership has produced a couple positive trends for advertisers, according to new data shared by search marketing agency Efficient Frontier. As a preview to its usual quarterly overview, Efficient Frontier has published some early data on its blog with some findings about the Yahoo-Bing transition. Google The ‘Early Winner’ In Ads After Bing-Yahoo Integration

In the aftermath of Bing and Yahoo integrating their search ad platforms, the "early winner" seems to be Google, whose share of paid search spending rose more than two percent between the second and third quarters of this year. The Yahoo Search Marketing Blog announced that the adCenter transition will begin this Monday, October 11th. Starting on Monday, you may start seeing less impressions, clicks and costs reported in the Yahoo Search Marketing console. What’s New With Bing & Yahoo Search Alliance

Yahoo has provided an update on the current status of the transition over to Bing's search technology. On the organic side, Yahoo began testing Bing powered results. They are currently testing Bing powered results on about 25 percent of the traffic. They hope to transition over to Bing fully, sometime in September or October. Bing Continues Growth, Ad Impressions & Clicks Way Up: Report

Ad impressions and ad clicks are rising steadily on Bing, while remaining flat or declining on both Google and Yahoo. Bing Makes Gains In Search Advertising Share: Report

Echoing recent stats that show Bing slowly growing its search engine market share, a new report says Bing is also increasing its share of search ad spending and clicks. The news comes from the latest quarterly report written by Efficient Frontier, a search marketing agency that manages more than $900 million in digital spending annually. Yahoo Gains “Default” Search Deal With Ubuntu

One small search victory for Yahoo: a new default search deal with Ubuntu, the free Linux-based operating system.
