In the aftermath of Bing and Yahoo integrating their search ad platforms, the "early winner" seems to be Google, whose share of paid search spending rose more than two percent between the second and third quarters of this year. That's one of the conclusions in the latest quarterly report from Efficient Frontier, a search marketing agency that manages more than $900 million in annual digital spending. The company says that Google's share of paid search spending rose from 75.8% in Q2 2010 to 77.9% in Q3 2010. Yahoo’s Search Ad Migration Deadline, October 25

The Yahoo Search Marketing Blog announced that the adCenter transition will begin this Monday, October 11th. Starting on Monday, you may start seeing less impressions, clicks and costs reported in the Yahoo Search Marketing console. If you have set up an adCenter account, then you likely will see an increase in impressions, clicks and costs on the Microsoft adCenter side. Microsoft adCenter To Power Yahoo Search Ads This Monday

This Monday, Microsoft adCenter will begin to power the search ads on Yahoo Search and partners. October 11th is the day Yahoo announced as the big transition of ad serving. Yahoo Launches Advertising Solutions Portal

What’s New With Bing & Yahoo Search Alliance

Yahoo has provided an update on the current status of the transition over to Bing's search technology. On the organic side, Yahoo began testing Bing powered results. They are currently testing Bing powered results on about 25 percent of the traffic. They hope to transition over to Bing fully, sometime in September or October. Bing Continues Growth, Ad Impressions & Clicks Way Up: Report

Ad impressions and ad clicks are rising steadily on Bing, while remaining flat or declining on both Google and Yahoo. That's according to the latest quarterly report (available tomorrow) from search marketing agency Efficient Frontier. Bing Makes Gains In Search Advertising Share: Report

Echoing recent stats that show Bing slowly growing its search engine market share, a new report says Bing is also increasing its share of search ad spending and clicks. The news comes from the latest quarterly report written by Efficient Frontier, a search marketing agency that manages more than $900 million in digital spending annually. Yahoo Gains “Default” Search Deal With Ubuntu

Google Gets 75% Of Paid Search Clicks & Dollars: Report

Three of every four paid search clicks happen on Google, and 75 cents of every paid search dollar is spent on Google. That's according to the latest quarterly report from Efficient Frontier, a search advertising agency that manages more than $750 million in annual digital spending annually. Yahoo Adds Network Distribution & Improved Importing To Search Ads

Microsoft-Yahoo Search Deal On Track For Completion

According to AllThingsD the MicroHoo search deal is nearing completion and "definitive agreement" status. Speculation that the deal was in trouble started happening when the two companies failed to meet their self-imposed October 27 deadline to finalize the complex agreement. Yahoo Down YoY, Flat From Q2, Search Ad Revs Down 19 Percent

Yahoo just announced quarterly revenues of $1.575 million, which represents a 12 percent decline from the third quarter of 2008 and is basically flat vs last quarter. However the company saw a 19 percent decline in search ad revenue YoY but flat sequentially.
